and caring for a disabled child |
Contact a Family produce a series of Factsheets for parents and
groups concerned with the care of disabled children.
The Factsheet Relationships and caring for a disabled child
gives a brief overview of a Contact a Family survey in 2004 which
asked over 2000 parents how caring for a disabled child had impacted
on their relationships with their partner. The Factsheet reports
parents’ views and comments and offers practical information about
services and entitlements. It is intended as a useful guide for
all parents of disabled children struggling with relationship issues.
