14. UK Conference: The Helping Relationship

Interconnections one-day UK conference

The conference will focus on elements of the helping relationship between professionals and the parents of babies and children who have disabilities, special needs, complex health needs, ASD, life-limiting conditions, etc.

Speakers include:

Professor Hilton Davis, Centre for Parent and Child Support, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and Guy’s Hospital, London. Author of Working in Partnership with Parents: The Parent Adviser Model, The Psychological Corporation, 2002.

Dr. Philippa Russell, CBE, Policy Adviser on Disability to National Children’s Bureau and DfES

 Dr. Naomi Dale of the Wolfson Centre, London and author of Working with Families of Children with Special Needs: Partnership and Practice, Routledge, 1996.

Costs: We are operating a sliding scale from £190 for a single delegate to £110 each for a delegation of 5.
