Blue Sky July is Nia Wyn’s memoir charting the first seven years of her life with Joe who had been diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy. She says: ‘I wrote Blue Sky July in the dead of night while my son was sleeping. It came from a dark place inside myself and was my way of dealing with, and trying to understand, the real impact that tragedy has on life and of recognizing the things that help us survive it.
