Educational Psychotherapy is a way of working with children, informed by a clinical training. The training takes place in North London, leads to registration with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and is validated by Middlesex University. Applications are invited from teachers and other people experienced in working with children or young people.

In addition to qualifying as an educational psychotherapist the training will equip you to:

§       Make sense of children and young people’s behaviour

§       Draw on Psychoanalytic and Attachment Theory

§       Develop your therapeutic teaching skills

The four-year, Caspari Foundation  part-time MA includes:

§       Seminars on psychoanalytic theory

§       Infant observation

§       Work discussion groups

§       A clinical placement
