It comes from Peter Limbrick who set up Interconnections in 1995
to offer independent consultancy to statutory and voluntary services
in the field of babies and children who have disabilities / special
needs. Peter is also Chair of the Handsel Trust (visit www.handseltrust.org)
The Interconnections Electronic Bulletin is part of the Interconnections
Information Services and goes free to over 10,000 people (and
growing) in all parts of the UK and Ireland and then finds it
way into many other networks and countries. The Interconnections
electronic address list includes people from health, education
and social services, the voluntary and private sectors, parent
organisations, research organisations, campaign offices, etc.
People who receive the bulletin are welcome to forward it to their
own colleagues and networks and to use the information in their
newsletters and bulletins.
We hope you will want to use the Interconnections Electronic
Bulletin –
- to tell readers about your conference, training, or seminar
- to publish an article or a feature
- to disseminate your research and survey findings
- to get answers from readers to your questions
- to voice an opinion
- to advertise a vacancy
- to tell readers about your organisation, service or campaign
- to tell readers about your website or newsletter
- for your press release
Do you have to pay to put your information into the Bulletin?
In the majority of cases this is a free service.
However, to help fund this Information Service, we make a charge
of £50 +VAT for up to 400 words for advertising products
or services that generate income for any statutory, private or
voluntary organisation. This includes –
- A service or product that you are selling
- Job vacancies
- Publishers’ book lists
- Conferences and other events that charge £75 or more
per professional place*
- Schedules/diaries of an organisation’s events that
charge £75 or more per professional place*
* There is no charge for putting basic details of your event
into the Events Listing
