TAC is a
very successful approach for babies and young children who require
ongoing multiple interventions. It takes inter-agency and multi-disciplinary
joined-upness beyond co-ordination of interventions into detailed
collaboration over the child’s development and learning programmes.
TAC’s breadth
encompasses children with disabilities and children at risk
and its depth extends to transdisciplinary teamwork.
At this seminar
there will be presentations by Peter Limbrick and by representatives
of two successful TAC
services. There will be space for small group discussions to
explore TAC
and share good practice.
Delegates
from the recent TAC Seminar in Cardiff (18/11/07) said –
‘A very informative
day. I enjoyed it enormously.’
‘Good opportunity
to network and share areas of good practice. Certainly provided
some food for thought.’
‘Walsall
model quite inspirational. Great networking opportunities. Useful
information disseminated. A little “death by PowerPoint”. Food
for thought.’
‘TAC
is really just common sense. Parents know this. Why do services
make such a fuss about talking to each other?’
Costs
from £95 to £120.
